IN DEBREC - An easy walk in the Great Forest of Debrecen. THE FLOWER CARNIVAL is Debrecen's most popular tourist event. Its roots go back to the 1910s, when visitors were attracted by a spectacular flowerbed on the city's main street. 1966 has been held on August 20 every year since.
